Collegiate Shag is the energetic and wild dance performered by College kids in the 1920ies & 1930ies.
In this free taster class you'll learn your first Collegiate steps, hops and kicks.
Put together into moves and figures and at the end of the class you'll be able to dance a full song
Collegiate Shag!
Please bring water to drink, a towel and a fresh T-Shirt. You'll get energized 🤩!

To chill out the energetic afternoon, join us from 18:00 on for some social dancing with amazing Swing music played by our DJ. Practice some new (and old?) dance steps, chat with friends or peers and enjoy the evening with a drink.
No registration required.
You do not have to reserve your spot. However, we only have limited places.
If you reserve a spot, your place will be blocked till 15 Minutes before the class starts.
After that pre-booked spots will be given to spontanous show-ups.
You do not have to bring a partner for partner dances.
Swing dances are social dances and we will change partners during class.
In partner dances we dance as FOLLOWERS and LEADERS.
By picking the role the leader/follower ratio can be balanced.
You do not need special shoes or clothes.
For shoes any sports/fitness types are ideal that DO NOT leave streaks on the floor.
If you plan to attend several classes, we recommend to bring T-Shirts to change.
It might get sweaty :-)
